In 2008 I was looking for a better work/life balance and looked at many options and making the decision to become a hairdresser was life changing.

I trained at Brooklands College in Ashford and took a 2 year NVQ2 course in ladies hairdressing which I actually completed a year and a half term early! In the half terms I trained at Wella in both cutting and colour and now use only Wella colours.

Whilst training at Brooklands I worked in Blow Hairdressers and Scissorhands, both very different salons, based in Egham.

I wanted to work part time and didn't want to work weekends, apart from a Saturday morning, which is why I decided to set up Faith Hair Design, based in my beautiful garden.
